1. What I collect

Account: email, display name, avatar if you add one, language and email preferences.
Access: your Subscriber plan, its term and how it was activated.
Payments: order code, amount, status and the transaction reference from the bank or payment gateway. I never store card numbers.
API keys: key name, creation time, last use and call counts. The key itself is stored only as a hash.
A log of paid pack downloads, to prevent abuse and to help when something goes wrong.

2. What I use it for

Running your account, granting reading and download access, sending sign-in email, receipts and the notifications you turned on, and preventing abuse. I do not sell your data. If you allow it on the cookie notice, the site also measures visits and ad performance (see section 4).

3. Processors

Cloudflare (hosting, file storage, bot protection), Neon (database), Amazon SES (email), SePay (VietQR transfer confirmation) and the bank receiving the transfers. When you accept measurement: Google (Google Analytics), Meta (Meta Pixel) and OpenAI (OpenAI Pixel). The account and order database is hosted in Singapore, email is sent through Amazon SES in Singapore, and the website and files are served through Cloudflare's network. These providers may process data outside Vietnam.

4. Cookies

The cookies and browser storage the site needs are always on: your sign-in session, language and light or dark theme. Google Analytics loads only when you turn on Analytics, and Meta Pixel and the OpenAI Pixel only when you turn on Advertising (Accept all turns on both). They set their own cookies and receive the pages you view and when you join the waitlist, start a checkout or complete a payment (order code, plan, amount), so I can measure visits and ad performance. I do not send them your email, name or what you read. Choose Reject non-essential and none of them load. You can change your choice any time from Cookie preferences in the footer.

5. Retention

Account data is kept until you delete your account.
Orders and receipts are kept for 10 years as accounting records, even after the account is deleted.
Download logs are kept until you delete your account.

6. Your rights

You can view and edit your profile on the Account page, turn off each kind of email, delete your account, or ask for a copy of your data at contact@modernengineer.dev.
